Artist Influence - Timothy Wilson Hoey

In Victoria, Tim is not just a local figure; he is an institution. Across Canada, he's celebrated as a national treasure. This autumn, he surprised me with a portrait as part of his 'locals only' artwork series (below). What a treat!

Tim is a staple at the Victoria Art Gallery Paint-In https://aggv.ca/art-gallery-paint-in-2023/ every Summer. He is a builder, artist and all round good guy who I’m happy to call a friend.
