A ROBE FOR EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK

Any given Sunday I can be found lounging around the house, a coffee and magazine in hand…wearing a robe - wait, this is every day, really, just ask my neighbours. As you can see, I’m a bit of a collector, I have many vintage silk kimonos, a custom silk robe by Smoking Lily, the Bird of Paradise Robe in Lilac by Blockshop Textiles, purchased through adhoc.

And, for those of you wondering about the lady-art hanging over my bed, she was painted by a contemporary Victoria artist Sharon Montgomery. This baby caught my eye several years back and now hangs prominently in my bedroom. The painting is reminiscent of being on a vacation and a constant reminder to put on a fancy robe!

Sharon’s artwork features floral and botanical themes as well as seascapes and landscapes inspired by our local surroundings.
